Wigan's winless away run at the start of this season continued on Tuesday night, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Millwall at The Den.

Things had started well for Paul Cook's side, with Anthony Pilkington firing them ahead inside the first five minutes, before Shaun Hutchinson headed Millwall level from a corner.

The Latics would again take the lead after half time thanks to Antonee Robinson's first senior goal, before the Lions again levelled, this time thanks to Matt Smith, who fired home on the hour mark.

Minutes after that second Millwall equaliser, Cook would make his first substitution of the night, withdrawing an attacker and goalscorer in Pilkington, replacing him with a third centre back in the shape of Cedric Kipre, adding another man to the heart of Wigan's defence alongside Chey Dunkley and Charlie Mulgrew.

Given the precarious position Wigan find themselves in in the Championship standings, and that continued lack of an away win this season, a number of Latics fans were far from happy with Cook's apparent decision to play for a draw with more than 20 minutes remaining in the game, as they took to Twitter to react to this particular substitution.

Here, we take a look at what some of those fans had to say.
