Luton Town defender Sonny Bradley has told Luton Today that he has full faith in Nathan Jones to make the most out of the current transfer window for the club.

The Hatters are currently sat in 16th place of the Sky Bet Championship table and will be looking to close the gap on the play-off places over the next few months as they seek to remain ambitious in their attempts to take the club to a higher level.

Therefore the opportunity to recruit some new faces and thus improve the quality of the squad this month is certainly something that Jones and his staff will be looking at in great detail.

Speaking recently about the prospect of new signings joining him at Kenilworth Road, Bradley had this to say:

"It is exciting to see who could possibly come into our football club and help us.

"For a player, it's not for us to start questioning who is going to come in and start asking that question.

"I've said it in the past, the players have full trust in the club, that the club will do good business, if they need to do it."

Indeed both the players and management at Luton have spoken about their ambitions to challenge for a play-off spot this term, so it will be intriguing to see who they bring in.

Meanwhile the Hatters will be back in action this weekend as they play host to Harrogate Town in the third round of the FA Cup at Kenilworth Road.

The Verdict

If Luton can get a few more goals from all areas of the team, they could well start moving in the right direction.

Their defence is amongst one of the strongest in the league, so there is no real need to bring in reinforcements in that area.

They will want to bring in players that would be an improvement on what they already have at their disposal, so it will be a tough task for Jones and co moving forwards.

The loan market is attractive, whilst there will also be some free agents to think about that could be pushed their way.
