It was a rollercoaster of an afternoon for Forest on Sunday, as the Reds closed the gap on the automatic promotion places to just five points after victory over Luton Town.

Forest bounced back from a disappointing 1-1 draw at Reading with a convincing 3-1 win over the Hatters, although they had to work hard for the victory.

Many would have thought that Luton were there for the taking having lost their last nine league games on the road, but Graeme Jones' side started the game really well indeed.

Their tenacity and work-rate was rewarded in the 23rd minute, where Harry Cornick rounded off an excellent team move to side-foot past Brice Samba and make it 1-0 to Luton.

Tensions rose amongst the City Ground faithful as they urged their team to improve, and they did so thanks to an inspiring performance from Joe Lolley - the winger netting either side of half-time to turn the game on its head.

Lewis Grabban stepped up in injury-time to secure the win for the Reds, rounding off a commanding second-half performance, and they now sit five points off second with a game in hand.

The club's official Twitter account took time to make a video on Sunday afternoon, filming all of the reactions from the dugout with the likes of Alfa Semedo, Joao Carvalho and Chema all appearing.

The video captures the subs' emotions as each goal went in, and it shows just how much the likes of Carvalho, Semedo and Jordan Smith care despite their lack of game-time of late.
