Cardiff City stormed back to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table last night, with Neil Warnock’s side recording a 3-1 victory over Leeds United.
The Bluebirds leapfrogged Leeds at the summit of the Championship table, thanks to a goalscoring brace from Kenneth Zohore and a thunderous strike from Junior Hoilett.
Warnock watched on as his side were in complete control throughout against Leeds, who finished the game with 10 men after Liam Cooper was sent off during the first-half.
Cardiff are now three points clear of Leeds at the top of the Championship table, but could be joined by Wolverhampton Wanderers this evening, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side travelling to Sheffield United.
After a brief slump in form at the start of September, Cardiff appear to be back to their best, and will be aiming for a third consecutive victory at the weekend when they face Derby County.
