Coventry City will be reasonably content with their opening 21 games in League One after winning promotion via the League Two play-offs last season.

Mark Robins' side currently sit in 11th place on 29 points, eight behind Barnsley who currently occupy the final spot in the play-off places.

They have been on a poor run of form, however, which will be a big concern to the fans, failing to win in any of their last five matches and losing their last two.

More bad news greeted them on Friday as well when it was revealed that Jodi Jones will most likely miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury against Peterborough United back in November.

Jones has made 83 appearances in total for the Sky Blues, scoring eight goals and assisting 15 more, but will not be adding to either tally any time soon.

The 21-year-old is a big hit with the Ricoh crowd and it is no surprise that they are gutted to hear about the winger's injury...
