Nottingham Forest have had a mediocre start to the Championship season under Aitor Karanka with his side adrift of the early season pacesetters.

After a summer of recruitment on a massive scale, Karanka seems to be struggling to find that winning formula.

But who is the biggest liability at Nottingham Forest right now?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

There's a few who need to pull their weight.

Forest have started steadily at best and need to start getting wins on the board.

The likes of Lewis Grabban and Ben Watson have come in for criticism from fans so they'd surely like to prove a point.

Gary Hutchinson

Ben Watson, and I never thought I’d find myself typing that.

Watson is a quality footballer, but he hasn’t settled this season.

Trying to play him and Colback hasn’t worked, they’re too defensive.

Something has to change.

Jay Taylor

Aitor Karanka is.

He will live and die by this transfer window. Whoever decided to give him free reign over transfers was obviously not expecting the manager to rack up 16 signings, but they were all sanctioned.

Karanka now needs to be able to juggle the happiness and dissatisfaction of players who are not playing and feel they deserve to play along with those who are playing and are happy at present.

So many signings is not conducive to a tight-knit dressing room and I feel that the number of arrivals is a liability and the Forest boss has shot himself in the foot.
