‘Something Bolton fans will regret for sure’ – Bolton fans react to club’s striker update

Bolton Wanderers currently find themselves in a relegation dog-fight as they look to keep their Championship hopes alive, and the departure of one of their striker’s won’t be of any help to Phil Parkinson’s side.
Adam Armstrong has officially rejoined his parent club Newcastle United after the expiry of his loan-deal with Championship side Bolton Wanderers.
Indeed, during his time at the Macron the striker made 23 appearances for the side of which he managed to bag three goals for the club, one in the league and two in the EFL Cup.
Although he may not have the most flattering of goal-scoring stats to take back to the Sports Direct Arena with him, what he does have is some valuable experience, and can hold his head high after some impressive displays.
Bolton Wanderers currently sit one point outside the relegation zone in 20th position, but if they’re going to want to increase that gap then they’ll need to bring in a suitable replacement this transfer window.
Nevertheless, as club’s do when a player leaves their side. Bolton Wanderers Twitter account (@OfficialBWFC) took to notifying fans of departing striker.
???? @AdamArma9 has officially completed his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers and has now returned to parent club @NUFC.

Shame he got forced out of the team by Buckley, could’ve been a decent backup for Buckley or Ameobi to inject some pace in the last 15

Something Bolton fans will regret for sure, this lad is a proper striker. Played as a number 9 will score goals for fun, #PUSB

Correct decision to recall him. The way PP sets the team up he never gets to play in his natural position so was wasted and right to go somewhere he can show what he's capable of. We defo saw flashes of it here. Good luck for the future Adam
