New Hull City signing Tom Eaves has sent a message to fans on Twitter, and it is causing a buzz of anticipation ahead of the new season.
Eaves is the Tigers’ second signing of the summer after Matt Ingram, and is a sign of the stamp Grant McCann wants to put on his squad.
The former Gillingham man is a very similar striker to John Marquis, a player who McCann got the best out of during their time together at Doncaster.
Eaves has always been a good target man but had found goals difficult to come by prior to his move to Gills. Since his move to Kent the 27-year-old has scored 38 goals in 84 league games, finding the net in a variety of ways – no longer just providing an aerial threat.
Hull fans are delighted to have him signed on, and his arrival has prompted excitement about what the new season has to offer.
Soooo looking forward to the season. Good luck Tom ????????????
