Plenty of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to react to Kyle Edwards' post following their club's 1-1 draw against Fulham.

The 21-year-old, who is a product of the Baggies' academy, was handed the captain's armband by Slaven Bilic after being brought on in the second-half of the clash and produced some real signs of promise at Craven Cottage.

After both sides missed chances to go ahead in the opening 45 minutes of the clash, Anthony Knockaert gave the hosts the lead with a fortuitous effort that deceived West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

With Fulham seemingly closing in on their fourth league win of the season, the Baggies managed to fire in an equaliser as Semi Ajayi headed in his first goal for the club.

Although Darnell Furlong went close to securing all three points for Bilic's side in stoppage time, they were forced to settle for a draw.

As a result of this clash, the Baggies were able to extend their unbeaten run to seven games in the Championship.

Following the game, Edwards posted on Twitter: "Important point against a strong team in the league and the unbeaten run continues."

Upon seeing the winger's comment, plenty of West Brom fans reacted in a positive manner.
