Thomas Christiansen remains unbeaten as Leeds United head coach following a 0-0 draw at home to Fulham on Tuesday night.

The 44-year-old took over from Garry Monk during the close season and oversaw a 3-2 win at Bolton Wanderers in his first match in charge, before backing that up with a 4-1 thumping of Port Vale in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Yet back-to-back 0-0 draws at Elland Road against first Preston North End and then Fulham have stemmed their momentum somewhat, although they’ll be confident heading into their trip to Sunderland on Saturday given their solid start to the campaign.

New boss Christiansen has been busy in the transfer market as well since taking over the reins at the Yorkshire outfit, with several incomings intertwined with a few outgoings, and there could be another man on the way out of the club this month in the form of striker Souleymane Doukara.

The 25-year-old bagged six goals in 34 Championship matches last term but had to play second fiddle to star striker Chris Wood for the majority of the campaign, and he is likely to do again this season should the New Zealand international remain at Elland Road.

And recent reports suggest that an unnamed Championship club are monitoring Doukara’s situation at Leeds ahead of a possible move this month, and it’s news which has stimulated quite a response from Leeds fans on Twitter.

And it’s fair to say that they are split about the Frenchman’s possible departure…
