Bristol Rovers striker Jonson Clarke-Harris is a summer transfer target for Championship side Hull City, it has been reported.

The in form striker has bagged nine goals in just 11 League appearances since joining Rovers from Coventry in January, leading to Championship interest in the 24-year-old.

According to The Daily Mail, one of those sides interested are Hull City, while Preston and Reading are also thought to be interested.

So, would Clarke-Harris be a good signing for the Tigers?

We asked some of our Football League World writers for their thoughts...

George Harbey

"I can see this being a good signing.

"Clarke-Harris is a player that Adkins generally likes to have in his squad.

"He could compliment Frazier Campbell really well up front."

Louie Chandler

"This would be a solid signing.

"Although the Tigers have had a great season, it is worth remembering how precarious things remain off the field.

"With the owner unlikely to splash out, going for somebody like Clarke-Harris could be smart."

Toby Wilding

"This could be a smart move for Hull.

"Clarke-Harris has been in outstanding form since the turn of the year, the Tigers have relied heavily on Jarrod Bowen this season, and will not want that to continue into next season, particularly if the big offers come in during the summer."

Jay Taylor

“This could be a move that I see working out.

“Hull are not at the top end of the division, but I can see how it would work.

“He has all the attributes Adkins loves in a player and could really improve the striker if he were to move to the KCOM.”
