Charlton Athletic are back in Championship action this weekend, as they take on Luton Town at The Valley in a relegation six-pointer.
The Addicks will want to bounce back from last Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers, as the result saw the side’s gap to the relegation zone get reduced to just five points.
However, Lee Bowyer will have to contend with yet more injury issues for the upcoming clash.
It has been reported by South London Press journalist Richard Cawley that loanee Sam Field has returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion to aid his recovery after suffering another knee injury setback.
It could mean he misses the rest of the season.

Must be some serious issues with our training intensity / facilities / rehab and physio. We are a home for the walking wounded!

Williams was a freak injury with Andre green in training – sam field is just an unlucky break for him coming back from a serious one in October – and pratleys is probably due to playing too much during the injury crisis ! – it’s ok we have cover for all 3 now thanks to the loans
