New QPR signing Todd Kane has taken to social media to express his pride at joining the club.

The right-back reportedly had several options to choose from, with Middlesbrough, Hull and Nottingham Forest interested, so R's fans are happy that he has picked them and signed a three-year-old to underline his commitment.

His preference for the west London club adds credibility to the idea that they are beginning to move in the right direction, and suggests the Mark Warburton factor is a big pull which attracts players they may otherwise have missed out on.

Kane's decision to opt for QPR is more surprising given he had experienced and seemed to enjoy life at Hull last season, where he played some of his best football.

The 25-year-old made 41 appearances in total, the most he has ever made in the second-tier, and his game improved significantly in both defence and attack, so it is no surprise R's fans are eagerly anticipating him bombing up and down the right-flank at Loftus Road.

Here are some of the welcoming messages Kane has received on Twitter from fans of his new club.
