‘So many mistakes’ – These Birmingham City fans were not happy with one man after Huddersfield draw

It was a frustrating night for Birmingham City on Tuesday, as they played out a goalless draw with fellow Championship struggles Huddersfield Town at The John Smith’s Stadium.

After a quiet first half, the game would jump into life just past the hour mark, when Fraizer Campbell put the hosts ahead, only for Marc Roberts to equalise for Birmingham just four minutes later.

That result means that Birmingham currently sit one place and six points clear of the relegation zone, albeit having played three more games than 22nd placed Rotherham.

Aitor Karanka’s side are therefore far from being out of danger, and one player who seemed to generate a considerable amount of concern amongst Birmingham fans as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on that draw with Huddersfield, was captain Harlee Dean.

Having already been booked for an early challenge, it was the centre back’s clearance to the feet of Campbell that allowed the Terriers to open the scoring, and with Dean seemingly far from convincing, a number of Blues fans were keen to air their frustrations with the 29-year-old on social media.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
