Andrea Radrizzani has been at the forefront of the protest about the EFL’s relationship with Sky Sports, with the Leeds United owner frustrated by the lack of money clubs receive from the deal in comparison to the Premier League.  

Leeds’ majority shareholder has already openly the discussed the possibility of a Premier League 2, with yesterday’s news, confirming that the EFL and Sky have reached a new agreement, already forcing those opposing the deal to call a meeting at Villa Park today.

The Whites will be represented at Villa Park, as will Derby County, with Leeds, Villa and Derby amongst the high-profile clubs opposing this new £595m five-year deal.

The relationship between Sky and Leeds’ supporters has been souring for some time now, with the Elland Road fanbase frustrated by their fixture list being continually tampered with by the television station.
