Leeds United’s search for a head-coach to lead them into next season is ongoing, with no announcement made on who will take over from Paul Heckingbottom.

After an underwhelming campaign saw Leeds finish 13th in the Sky Bet Championship, the Whites have once again opted for a change.

Marcelo Bielsa has emerged as a leading candidate to take the role at Elland Road, with the 62-year-old a high-profile name that has got supporters excited by his potential arrival.

A report from the Yorkshire Evening Post has confirmed that should Bielsa take charge, he plans to bring Leeds’ playing squad back into training a week early ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

There has been no official announcement that Bielsa is going to be taking charge, with Leeds still considering other options, should Bielsa not take the role.

However, after this latest update, plenty of Leeds’ supporters are believing that a deal for Bielsa is on the horizon…
