‘So happy’, ‘Great to see’ – Loads of Bristol City fans react as 28-y/o favourite reflects on big moment

Loads of Bristol City fans have reacted to Korey Smith’s latest Instagram post after the midfielder made his long-awaited return to Ashton Gate following a lenthy injury lay-off.
Smith was brought into the action for the final 18 minutes as Lee Johnson’s side smashed Huddersfield 5-2 at home in what was a much needed win following their humbling against West Brom in midweek.
It was against the Baggies that Smith made his return to action, however, it is safe to say that he enjoyed the win against Danny Cowley’s side much more.
They were his first minutes since picking a nasty injury against Reading back in April, keeping the 28-year-old completely out of action ever since.
Smith has long been a fan favourite at Ashton Gate following his arrival from Oldham back in 2014, famously scoring the winner in their now iconic League Cup win against Manchester United.
So it was no surprise to see the excited tone of the replies to his latest Instagram message…
