Simon Grayson has left Bradford after being there for just under three months.

He was brought in after Stuart McCall was sacked with the club in sixth place. However, he was unable to rejuvenate them and they ended up falling down the table under him with 11th place being where they eventually finished.

Grayson started the season at Sunderland, but was sacked in November with the club struggling. His time with the Bantams wasn't much better, though, because they only won three games and picked up a total of 14 points in 14 games under him. Although the club were willing to give him a long-term contract in spite of this, he rejected the option to extend it.

The board now have a big task because the club needs some stability, but they will be also aiming for the play-offs after reaching that in the past two seasons, prior to this one, with Millwall narrowly beating them in the final last year.
