Fans have taken to social media to react to Conor Gallagher's goal for the England U21 on Friday night, as the Charlton Athletic-loanee scored his first goal for Aidy Boothroyd's Young Lions.

A 3-0 win for the England U21's was sealed in Albania on Friday night with goals from Phil Foden, Gallagher and Reiss Nelson.

Chelsea's Conor Gallagher scored just before half-time to give his side a two-goal lead going into half-time, and with a fine strike from the edge of the box with his left foot.

The 19-year-old has been a revelation at The Valley this season, in what is his maiden experience in first-team football.

He was named Chelsea's Academy Player of the Year last season and has started this one by scoring five goals in 16 Championship games for Lee Bowyer's side, as they sit 11th in the Championship.
