Oxford United have reportedly received a bid of £3 million from Brentford for influential pair Tariqe Fosu and Shandon Baptiste, according to Football Insider.

Both have been vital in Oxford's bid for promotion this season and it appears as though the pair may well find themselves out of the club as a shock bid comes in from Brentford.

Karl Robinson and his side have had some impressive cup displays so far this campaign, and Fosu hasn't looked out of place in any of the matches.

Alongside this, 21-year-old Baptiste scored an unbelievable goal against West Ham in a 4-0 victory for the U's in a League Cup game.

The Bees are currently in a position where any real run of form would lift them ever closer to an opportunity of playing Premier League football next season.

It appears that Thomas Frank has sought out targets from the lower division to help his side try and achieve their ambition.
