It doesn't seem Fulham fans realised what they were in for when they came tumbling down to the Championship...

Two years in a row now their league finishes have been nothing short of catastrophic, and a brush with relegation last season will have opened their eyes a little, and changes will probably be made around the club this summer.

Their defensive record last season was just terrible, despite having two of the best strikers in the division, and with an academy running at the level Fulham's does, it's likely that players'll be promoted to the first team.

It's time for Slavisa Jokanovic to build his own side and charge the London based club up the table, and undoubtedly there'll be a place for young players within the squad.

Here are THREE young players who Slavisa Jokanovic will be looking to make the most of ahead of next season at Fulham...

Cauley Woodrow

Cauley Woodrowch

Fulham had the most formidable strike force in the division last season in Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele, but it seems highly likely that they could lose the two of them ahead of next season, with clubs circling like sharks.

Woodrow is a hot prospect coming up from the club's academy and spent time on loan with Southend last season, only scoring twice in 19 appearances, but still could move up to the Fulham squad.

With Fulham's main striking duo seemingly on the way out, it would seem Woodrow could eye up a spot in the starting eleven for himself.

George Williams

George Williamss

The former MK Dons man made two appearances for the Dons before signing up with Fulham on a free transfer, where he's made fifteen appearances, and was included in the Wales squad for the Euros this summer.

He went on loan to Gillingham in February and impressed during his time in League One, perhaps enough to earn a promotion from reserve football up to the first team.

Williams looks like a good little player, but given the formation Fulham like to play, he may have to adapt to a wing back role.

Ryan Fredericks

Ryan Frederickss

It was a funny old summer for Ryan Fredericks last summer, who joined Bristol City after a loan spell at Middlesbrough from Tottenham, making three appearances before realising he missed London and forced through a move to Fulham.

He plays at wing back for Fulham and was a consistent member of the team, making 36 appearances for them across the season.

He's an extremely promising player, with pace and power going forward, and could end up being a very important player for Fulham as he develops further.

Fulham fans... What do you make of this list? Will these players be important next year? Who do you want to see given a chance? Let us know in the comments below!
