Fulham continued their superb run of form on Saturday with a thumping 6-0 win over Burton Albion, however boss Slavisa Jokanovic has warned his players to stay focused.

Following their third successive win, the Cottagers are just one point outside the top six and no side has collected more points than the Londoners in the past ten games.

As well as that, they’re also beginning to fire in front of goal. The six against the Brewers took it to 17 goals in just five matches.

After a frustrating start, things look as though they are clicking for Jokanovic’s men but he was quick to ensure they didn’t get ahead of themselves when sending the below message out on twitter this afternoon.

The former Watford boss was clearly demanding that his players continue to deliver their current high standards ahead of a crucial period of the season.

The Whites next three games see them take on Barnsley away, Forest at home and Bolton away in what looks like a very good chance to extend this winning run.

The Verdict

Slavisa Jokanovic is very careful and cautious in his approach to the media and there’s no way he would let his players get ahead of themselves as you can see from the tweet.

Besides, Fulham still are not where they want to be. A top six finish would’ve been a minimum requirement to some in pre-season and they are still outside the play-offs.

However, they are showing their true quality now and if they keep their attitude the same, then there’s no reason why they can’t continue this fine run.
