Sheffield United boss Slavisa Jokanovic has admitted that his side well be coming up against one of the best teams in the Championship as they take on West Brom at The Hawthorns this evening.

The two sides, who were both relegated from the Premier League last season, started the campaign as two of the hot favourites for promotion.

Of course, it's very early days, but Albion appear to have justified that tag, picking up four points and quickly getting to grips with the demands that new boss Valerien Ismael wants.

It hasn't been as easy for the Blades yet, and Jokanovic told the club's media that whilst he is confident, it's going to be a tough test for his players.

"It’s a tough game against one of the strongest teams in the league. They really start the season well. It arrives in a good moment for us, and we’ll be ready for the game."

The Yorkshire outfit will be looking for their first win and first goal of their league season in the game tonight.

The verdict

There won't be many who disagree with Jokanovic's assessment here because Albion have started the season very well, with the team playing the high intensity football that Ismael demands.

That makes them very hard to play against and the team is packed full of quality players at this level who ensure they are a constant goal threat.

So, there's no getting away from the fact that this is going to be a tough game for the Blades but they have a lot of quality themselves, so they won't be fearful going into this fixture and it could be the ideal fixture to really kickstart their season.
