Slaven Bilic has identified Fenerbahce's Vedat Muriqi as his main transfer target if West Bromwich Albion win promotion to the Premier League this season.

The Baggies are on the verge of promotion to the Premier League and are still strongly backed on spbobet.com after a remarkable campaign thus far, and Bilic is likely to be identifying potential transfer targets for next season already.

One player who has been linked with a move to the Hawthorns of late is Fenerbahce striker Muriqi, who has been in electric form for the Turkish side this season.

Have West Brom done these 15 things in the last 10 years?

The Kosovo international has scored 15 goals in 28 appearances for Fenerbahce this season, and is likely to be a man in-demand this summer.

According to Turkish newspaper Aksam, Bilic's main transfer target ahead of the summer is Muriqi, and the Croatian is reportedly prepared to sell some of his current players in order to fund a move.

West Brom spent big on the likes of Kenneth Zohore and Charlie Austin in the summer, but Zohore in particular has flattered to deceive, and their attacking options need strengthening.

Muriqi is likely to cost around €20m, as per Aksam, with French side Rennes also looking to acquire his signature.

The Verdict

Muriqi is somewhat of a risky signing, especially for a price of around €20m, but his goalscoring record is exciting to say the least.

He's entering his prime years, he has scored plenty of goals for Kosovo, and he's been scoring goals for fun in a competitive Turkish league.

Albion definitely need to bring in another striker if they are to return to the Premier League, and he could be their main man.
