Slaven Bilic has stated that there is a lot more to come from his West Brom side despite being top of the Championship after 14 games.

The Baggies boss has been brilliant since taking over at the Hawthorns and his side have lost just once in the Championship in the current campaign, whilst remaining unbeaten at home so far.

They have drawn six games though, and Bilic will be determined to turn some of them into victories in the future.

His side take on manager-less Stoke City on Monday night, aiming to extend the gap at the top of the table.

Bilic has expressed that there is a lot more to come from his side, and that there is always room for improvement.

Speaking to West Brom's official website, Bilic said: “There’s a lot more to come - that doesn’t mean we will change the way we are playing. In the majority of the games we are playing the football that I like, which I am quite happy about. Of course no matter how you play there is always room for improvement and for progress.

“We are cutting those black holes and I am trying to explain those situations when for some minutes of the games, or half of the game, when we are not what we should be. It is about stretching that quality to be more consistent."

The Verdict

Bilic has been very good since taking over as manager and seems to have made the Baggies much harder to beat. They have more steel about them, and still have an attacking capability in the forward ranks.

Some of the loan signings that they've made could really make a difference for them this season, Grady Diangana could be the key to promotion to the Premier League.

If Bilic says there's even more to come from his side, then you have to make them the favourites to return to the top flight.
