Coventry City will be looking to strengthen their play-off bid when they visit Sheffield United tomorrow.

The Sky Blues have enjoyed an excellent start to the Championship campaign, with Mark Robins' side sitting on 30 points after 17 games.

It is a points tally that means that they are four points clear in the play-off positions, but will be hoping to strengthen their away form if they are to continue battling away at the top end of the division.

The Sky Blues come against a Sheffield United side tomorrow who have struggled to build any sort of momentum this season.

The Blades have picked up 19 points this season, and because of Reading's six-point deduction, they are in 17th place at present.

Issuing his score prediction via his Sky Sports column, David Prutton believes that the game will end as a 2-2 draw.

The verdict

Coventry have been a difficult force to stop early in this campaign, and they have managed to bounce back after a couple of early setbacks, which only bolsters their chances of continuing their play-off push.

Sheffield United are still waiting to click. They possess an excellent squad at this level and have a manager who has experience guiding a team out of this division, suggesting they have the tools to still see success.

A 2-2 draw is certainly a fair assessment of what can be expected from tomorrow's lunchtime kick-off, but it would be no surprise to see a narrow win either way.

The Blades are only seven points from the play-off positions, and if they can secure a win tomorrow, then they will be hopeful of starting to pressurise those top six places.
