David Prutton has predicted Brentford to continue their exhilarating Championship form with a comfortable victory over top-six hopefuls Bristol City tonight.
Thomas Frank’s men, who’re on an 18-match unbeaten run in the second-tier, can finally climb into the automatic promotion places with another three points, and will be full of confidence after their mauling of Wycombe on Saturday.
Victory over the Championship’s bottom club was the Bees’ fourth on the bounce at the Brentford Community Stadium, and strong favourites to extend that winning run to five later this evening.

Meanwhile, whilst despite seven league defeats since the beginning of December, a win would see the Robins go level on points with sixth-placed Bournemouth, although Dean Holden’s men have suffered defeats in each of their previous five on their travels, including at Derby on Saturday.
And Prutton is expecting their wretched form on the road to continue in West London. He told Sky Sports:
“Brentford showed their attacking credentials late on against Wycombe. They are now the Championship’s highest scorers, and have more than just Ivan Toney chipping in. Which will be massive for them if they are to push for the top two.
Everything points towards another Brentford victory here, and I simply cannot see anything other than a Brentford win.
Frank’s men are scoring for fun and are quite solid defensively, despite conceding twice against the Chairboys, and the blistering form of Josh Dasilva and Ivan Toney should prove too much for the Robins.
