Two of the Championship's struggling teams come head to head at the MKM Stadium tomorrow evening as Hull City host Peterborough United.

The home side, who were promoted from League One as champions last time out, sit on nine points from their opening 12 games and have struggled to match the heights of their opening day thrashing of Preston North End.

The Tigers are currently one point outside of the relegation zone and a point off Peterborough United in 23rd, with Posh yet to win a point away from home this season.

Darren Ferguson's side finished second to Hull last year, but have been unable to transfer their lower-tier confidence into a solid start in the Championship.

Predicting further misery for Posh on their travels, Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has gone with a 2-1 Hull victory in his Sky Sports predictions column.

The verdict

Both sides have struggled thus far, but a winning result in tomorrow's game could change the course of the season.

Hull have found it difficult to adapt to the new division, but this could be the perfect opportunity to finally kick on and advance their season.

Whilst Peterborough will also be viewing this as a winnable game, and a match that could kickstart their form on the road.

It will be no surprise to see a cagey affair play out in Hull, but it will also be no shock to see The Tigers come out victorious.

A defeat for either side will be a massive dent in what is already expected to be a difficult campaign for both.
