The Championship resumes this weekend after a two-week break to accommodate the autumn internationals.

The Liberty Stadium is the venue as Swansea City host Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.

Graham Potter’s men come into this meeting on the back of an unlikely win over Millwall.

The Swans came back from a goal down, with ten men for 85 minutes of the game to snatch all three points in London and consolidate their position in the league after a strong start to the season.

Aitor Karanka’s men, however, have had a harder time of it as of late.

With 16 new additions, Forest are still finding their feet and working on becoming a cohesive unit - and that shows in their results.

One win and four draws in their first six matches tells you all you need to know, that they need to be doing more to win games, and that will come with team understanding.

With that said, Sky Sports’ EFL pundit David Prutton took his weekly look at an array of Championship fixtures and cast his eye over this week’s clash in south Wales.

Prutton said: “It didn't look too much like Swansea would claim all three points at Millwall after going a man and then a goal down, but Graham Potter's side showed incredible resolve to come back and win that game.

“Nottingham Forest look less than the sum of their parts at the moment and, as ever, seem to be drawing too many games.

“I fancy Swansea to sneak this one. 1-0.”

The Verdict

Swansea are hitting form and Forest have no idea of their best team with all of the players they have at their disposal.

If Jefferson Montero starts for the Swans, I would make them slight favourites.

You never know what Forest team is going to turn up, but I feel Graham Potter's men are going to get a result once more.

Swansea to win 2-0.
