Coventry City secured their second victory on the road this season at the weekend, defeating Hull City by one goal to nil.

Matt Godden's ninth-minute strike proved to be the difference between the teams at the MKM Stadium, strengthening Coventry's position in the play-off positions.

The Sky Blues have been much better on home soil this season, winning six and drawing seven of their games at the Coventry Building Society Arena thus far.

Coventry face a Swansea City team tonight who have improved immensely in recent weeks.

The Swans have won three of their last four matches, with Russell Martin's possession-based philosophy starting to reward his side.

However, The Swans have not travelled too well this season, picking up a mere five of their 20 points this season away from the Swansea.com Stadium.

Predicting further away struggles for the Welsh club, David Prutton has gone with a 1-0 victory to The Sky Blues in his Sky Sports column.

The verdict

Coventry have been excellent at home this season and they have already faced much tougher tests at home than Swansea, with Fulham and Middlesbrough already visiting.

The Sky Blues have been absolutely devastating back at home this season, and it is because of their home record that they are currently operating in the play-off positions.

However, Swansea are continuing to improve, with the likes of Jamie Paterson, Joel Piroe and Oliver Ntcham all growing in influence as this season progresses.

A narrow Coventry win is certainly a good shout, but a draw could also be on the cards.
