Barnsley have struggled to follow up last season's top-six finish with any sort of early-season form.

The Tykes, who were without a Championship win in seven games when Valerien Ismael took over last year, went on to finish in fifth place.

However, The Tykes are now in 21st place after 10 second-tier games thus far, accumulating just eight points in the process.

Also, Markus Schopp's side find themselves without a win in their last eight Championship games, with pressure seemingly mounting on the new manager.

Millwall make the visit to Oakwell tomorrow afternoon, with Gary Rowett's side unbeaten in their last six second-tier outings.

Despite losing just two games this season, numerous draws mean that Millwall sit in 14th place.

Winning two of their opening 10, The Lions are yet to pick up three points on their travels this season, but Sky Sports pundit David Prutton believes that the London club will pick up a 2-1 win away to The Tykes.

The verdict

Emerging as the early season draw specialists, Millwall are proving to be tough to be beaten, and whilst they have only tasted victory twice this season, the fact they are unbeaten in their last six is a positive sign.

The manner in which Barnsley conceded the three goals against Nottingham Forest during the week will have annoyed Schopp.

Barnsley have a young squad who performed out of their skins to reach the play-offs last time out, and they are certainly struggling for confidence this time out.

A Millwall, and by a narrow margin, is certainly an outcome that looks most likely.
