Sky Sports pundit issues score prediction as Coventry City host Peterborough United

Coventry City have enjoyed a brilliant start to the new Championship season, accumulating 16 points from their opening eight games.

Sitting in fourth place, Mark Robins’ side are proving to be incredibly tough to break down, whilst possessing the quality in forward areas to consistently earn points.

The Sky Blues, who are yet to drop a single point on home soil, returned to the Coventry Building Society Arena for this season, turning it into somewhat of a fortress.

Peterborough United, who currently sit in the relegation zone, will travel with confidence after a convincing 3-0 win at home to Birmingham City on Saturday.

Have Coventry City ever finished in the top ten of the Premier League table?

Posh are yet to win on their travels this season, losing all four of their games on the road.

EFL pundit David Prutton sees Coventry continuing their mightily impressive home record tomorrow evening, inflicting further misery on the side who have struggled away from home.

Prutton has penned down a 2-1 win for the hosts.

The verdict

A Coventry win is certainly logical as they have been excellent thus far and deserving of their position in the table.

However, Saturday’s 3-0 win might kickstart Posh’s season. Darren Ferguson’s side sent out a strong message during that victory, and it was against a Birmingham side who have started the season off well.

However, it is hard to look past their awful record on the road this season, and for that reason, it will be no surprise to see Coventry win.

It will also be no shock to see The Sky Blues win the game by two goals.
