Paul Heckingbottom will be hoping for his first win as Leeds United manager when they welcome play-off chasing Brentford to Elland Road tomorrow.

Even though the ex-Barnsley boss hasn't won in three, the Whites have gained credible points against Bristol City and Derby in their past two games - and it could've been much more.

A stoppage time Pierre-Michel Lasogga header hit the bar against the Robins, whilst Gary Rowett's men denied Leeds all three points with a stoppage time leveller.

So, whilst the play-offs remain a long shot, the Yorkshire side will go into the game with confidence having competed with two better sides in the league.

However, Brentford are doing very well themselves and head up north on the back of a 5-0 thrashing of Birmingham.

And, EFL pundit and former Leeds midfielder David Prutton thinks the Bees will have too much for his old club on Saturday afternoon.

Writing in his Sky Sports column, he backed the visitors to nick a 1-0 win to earn what would be a vital three points in their quest for a top six finish.

The Verdict

This really is a very tough game to call as both sides are good yet inconsistent.

If Leeds are to have any hope of making the top six, this is a must-win so they may as well go all out for the three points, and a draw is no good to Brentford either really.

It could be a tense afternoon and one goal could be the difference between the two sides and with the Bees form you can see why Prutton has gone for them.
