David Prutton is predicting Huddersfield Town to halt Aston Villa’s revival this evening, when the two sides meet at the John Smith’s Stadium, reports Sky Sports.

Villa travel to Huddersfield tonight, with Prutton predicting the Yorkshire side will be 2-1 winners.

David Wagner’s Terriers were defeated by Newcastle United in their last fixture, denting their automatic promotion chances, and will be looking to bounce back at the expense of Villa.

Steve Bruce’s side are in fine form, winning three consecutive fixtures, moving them to 13th in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Tonight when they face promotion-chasing Huddersfield, Prutton is predicting a victory for Wagner’s side, he wrote: “I felt for Huddersfield against Newcastle. A couple of big calls went against them, especially the penalty where Nahki Wells didn't mean to clip Matt Ritchie.

“I fancy them to have too much pace and creativity for Villa, who will have a totally different proposition than they faced against Rotherham on Saturday.”

Huddersfield sit third in the Championship table just six-points outside the automatic promotion places, heading into tonight’s fixtures.

Tonight’s clash is the start of three fixtures for Wagner’s side against teams in the bottom-half of the table, where Huddersfield will be looking to close the gap to the top-two.
