The standout game in the Championship this weekend sees league leaders Wolves travel to Aston Villa in what should be a fiercely contested West Midlands derby.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men secured a much-needed first win in four against Leeds on Wednesday by putting in a dominant performance that was one of their best of the season.

Meanwhile, the hosts made it nine wins in 11 games with a comprehensive victory at Sunderland to remain four points behind Cardiff and ten behind Wolves.

Therefore, there’s a lot riding on the game and the issues between the clubs off the pitch should add even more spice to this fixture.

And, writing in his regular Sky Sports column, EFL pundit David Prutton is predicting a 2-2 draw between the sides on Saturday evening.

The former Leeds midfielder revealed that he was expecting an ‘entertaining draw’ and also backed Lewis Grabban to score first.

Since arriving on-loan from Bournemouth in January, the 30-year old has done well and heads into tomorrow’s game with three goals in his last three games.

The Verdict

This is a really tough game to call, so you can’t really argue with Prutton who has gone for a draw.

Villa are in great form and have lost just once at home all season, however Wolves looked back to their best on Wednesday and also have Ruben Neves back.

It has all the ingredients to be a real cracker and neutrals won’t be complaining if Prutton’s right and four goals are shared.
