Aston Villa are set to take on Fulham tomorrow in the richest game in world football with a place in the Premier League on the line.

The two sides came through tight play-off semi-finals to book their place at Wembley and Sky Sports pundit David Prutton believes the West Midlands side will shade the final.

The EFL pundit revealed in his online column that he is going for a 1-0 Villa victory with John Terry to score the only goal.

Villa were victorious against Middlesbrough courtesy of a set-piece goal from Mile Jedinak and Prutton stated that this will be a major advantage for Steve Bruce's men.

As well as Villa being a threat from set-pieces, Fulham are a small side who could struggle with long balls and aerial challenges.

He also added that he expected a tight encounter with sides boasting two contrasting styles.

In the two games the sides played against each other this season, the home team were victorious on both occasions, with Fulham winning the last fixture back in February 2-0 at Craven Cottage.

The Verdict

This is an extremely tough game to call and you can make a good case for both sides, so you can't really argue with Prutton's prediction.

As he says as well, set-plays will be a big advantage for Villa and they will want to make the most of free-kicks near the box and corners.

Obviously, Fulham pose a major threat as well with their attacking players and it should be a great game with so much on the line.
