Tuesday night presents the perfect opportunity for Leeds United to put pressure on Middlesbrough, with a home clash against Reading.

The Whites secured a vital win against Bristol City at the weekend - their third win in seven league games - and have the perfect opportunity to put pressure on Tony Pulis' men with a win against Reading tonight.

It might not be too straight-forward for Marcelo Bielsa's men - Paul Clement's Royals are unbeaten in their last three league games and are desperate for three points, with the Berkshire side languishing in 20th position.

Many fans will be backing Leeds for yet another win however, so what does Sky Sports pundit David Prutton think? The former Sheffield Wednesday man has predicted a 2-0 win for Bielsa's men.

"It took a red card for Leeds to eventually get past Bristol City on Saturday but, considering the injury problems they have at the back and in goal, it would have been a very pleasing win for Marcelo Bielsa."

"It was just a second clean sheet of the season for Reading at Wigan, but that was up against a side who had lost four games on the spin - this is a far tougher task and I reckon Leeds will claim all three points."

Leeds sit 3rd in  the Championship just one point off Boro, whereas Reading sit just outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.

The Verdict

I agree with Prutton - I can't see anything other than a Leeds win, however I don't think that it will be that straight-forward for the Yorkshire side.

The Royals are capable of pulling off a shock and will go to Elland Road with no fear - it's bound to be a cracker for sure.
