Barnsley take on Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow night in what is shaping up to be a big game at Oakwell.

Barnsley are currently embarking on an incredible run of form of late, winning six games on the bounce to propel them into play-off contention.

In midweek, the Tykes defeated Queens Park Rangers by three goals to one in West London, courtesy of goals from Daryl Dike, Alex Mowatt and Carlton Morris.

Birmingham will hope that they have turned a corner of late, having gone unbeaten in their last two games.

Aitor Karanka's side beat QPR last week, before drawing 1-1 with fellow strugglers Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium.

Both sides will be desperate for a win tomorrow, but what does Sky Sports' David Prutton predict?

The former Leeds and Nottingham Forest man has backed Barnsley to keep their winning run going, saying: "What a run it has been for Barnsley. Six wins on the spin at this level is incredible, and they have so much momentum right now.

"Birmingham are out of the bottom three but it's still all very congested near the bottom. They have had a decent week and will feel more confident, but the Tykes are just too good right now."

The Verdict

Barnsley do not look like slowing down any time soon.

They are playing some fantastic football and keep putting points on the board, and you certainly wouldn't back against them this weekend.

Birmingham will be encouraged by a couple of decent results of late, but I think it will take a lot to stop Barnsley this weekend.
