David Prutton has predicted Barnsley to end Millwall's unbeaten run when they meet at Oakwell on Saturday.

Following their added-time equaliser against Luton in midweek, Gary Rowett's men extended that run to nine matches, although the Lions have drawn their previous two against sides they would probably expect to be beating - with rock-bottom Wycombe the other last weekend at The Den.

But with the sides above them faltering, Millwall are still firmly in the top-six race, although three points in South Yorkshire are much-needed for the Londoners.

Meanwhile, Barnsley are another surprise play-off contender having recorded four straight wins in the Championship to move within one point of sixth-placed Cardiff City.

The goalscoring form of Carlton Morris has been a major reason for the Tykes' outstanding run, but with four clean sheets in five outings, their defensive unit is certainly playing their part.

And Prutton, via Sky Sports, has predicted another Barnsley victory tomorrow afternoon - with Valerien Ismael's winning 2-1.

The Verdict

Whilst it might not grab the headlines of a Derby vs Nottingham Forest or Bournemouth against Watford, this is another massive clash at the top of the Championship standings this weekend.

But with Millwall five points below the Tykes, this would appear a far more important afternoon for the visitors.

However, the Lions are the draw specialists in the Championship, and with two strong defensive outfits, I can see them cancelling each other out.
