Wolves took to the front in the Championship last weekend and they'll certainly have plans to stay there for the rest of the campaign if they can help it.

Attacking freely and defensively sound, Nuno Santo has built a fine side and their controlled win over Aston Villa last weekend really was something to behold as they brushed them aside 2-0. They cannot dwell on that anymore, though, with another big game this weekend in front of their fans as they host a handy looking Preston side under Alex Neil.

Certainly, the men from Deepdale are looking like one of the surprise packages of the season and they'll certainly feel as though they can get something from the game. For David Prutton in his regular Sky Sports prediction column, though, it's going to be a narrow Wolves win come the final whistle.

Indeed, Prutton cites that this is going to be another big test for the men in gold with the Lilywhites certainly no mugs. They're stout at the back, too, and it should be an interesting clash with them coming up against a Wolves side with such a brilliant attack. And it's the attack that Prutton feels which will just win out - he's going 1-0.

The Verdict

I agree with Prutton in terms of result but I think the score-line might be different. Preston are good enough to score at Molineux and I think it'll finish 2-1 to the home side.

Wolves need to make sure they don't concede first, though, because Preston are great defensively.
