It's that time of the week again where we're looking ahead to the action in the Championship and David Prutton has revealed his predictions.

The former midfielder seems to be the go-to man now for Sky Sports' EFL coverage and so, naturally, when his predictions column comes out, it's of interest to many Football League fans.

This week, though, it might not please Hull City supporters too much with him predicting that Birmingham City are going to continue their recent revival against them with a 1-0 win.

Indeed, writing in his column he has said that it seems as though Hull are heading in the wrong direction after a run of pretty poor results, whilst the Blues are looking on the up - especially after they beat Sheffield Wednesday.

And, with new manager Steve Cotterill now in charge for the game at the KCOM Stadium, the players will surely be looking to impress for the Blues.

It'll be interesting to see, then, if the Tigers can deal with that and, if they can't, Prutton might just be right with his prediction.

The Verdict

Prutton's reasons to go for an away do make sense but it might not just turn out that way.

Of course, the Blues are looking stronger than they have but the Tigers will be looking to pick themselves up after losing against Preston and that might just see them get a draw instead. 1-1.
