Former Leeds player turned Sky Sports pundit David Prutton suspects there will be a glut of goals as Boro entertain West Brom tonight.

Both sides are in the top seven at present after strong starts to the season. West Brom have perhaps looked inconsistent at times, but with an array of attacking talent at their disposal they're always going to score goals.

Boro, despite some high-profile departures, have set the early pace along with Leeds and are level on points with Marcelo Bielsa's side at the top of the table.

This is the weekend's early fixture and it promises to be one of the more entertaining affairs of the weekend.

"This is a tough one to call between two very big, powerful sides who thrive from set-piece situations," Prutton wrote for Sky Sports. "Boro could go clear at the top at least for one night and I think they could sneak what should be an entertaining game."

He's gone for a 3-2 Boro win, with Jay Rodriguez to score first.

The Verdict

This will be a close tie, that is for sure. Both sides are in good form and are likely to be in the top six come May, so it is a real six pointer early in the season.

I can see it being a draw, there's little to choose between the two sides and neither would be too disappointed at holding the other.
