Another weekend of Sky Bet Championship action is upon us and that means that David Prutton has also released his predictions for the weekend's games.

Writing in his regular Sky Sports column, he's taken a look at some of the bigger games across the second tier and rest of the Football League, with a score prediction for each Championship match.

And so, with that in mind, he's backing an entertaining affair at the DW Stadium as Nottingham Forest travel to play Wigan Athletic.

Both have started the campaign well with Forest unbeaten in three and Wigan earning a win over Sheffield Wednesday and deserving a point at Aston Villa that they just missed out on.

The pair have displayed good attacking football so far and, clearly, Prutton thinks that both will get on the scoresheet but neither will do enough to take all three points with a 2-2 draw on the way.

The Verdict

This seems a fair prediction.

Forest are still gelling and so at times, they are going to pick up draws where they might win games otherwise.

Wigan look good at the moment and are more than happy to get on the front foot whoever they are taking on.

An entertaining draw looks possible for sure.
