The Championship is back this weekend and the big derbies just keep on coming with the battle between Suffolk and Norfolk taking centre stage.

Indeed, it's been a busy few weekends in the second tier with the likes of the Steel City Derby, Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds and the East Midlands Derby last time out, and now it is time for Ipswich Town v Norwich City at Portman Road. For sure, then, it should be a feisty affair with both sides starting pretty well this year and looking to mount a challenge for those top six places.

And, as is usually the case before an EFL weekend, David Prutton has offered his thoughts on how the big games - this derby included - in his regular Sky Sports prediction column, and it makes good reading for Norwich fans.

Indeed, Prutton is expecting a tight affair at Portman Road but with Norwich one of the form sides in the division at the moment and Ipswich less so after their loss at Sheffield United, he is expecting an away win. It's narrow, with him going for a 1-0 scoreline, but Canaries fans will not mind one bit if that is what happens come Sunday.

The Verdict

Sorry for sitting on the fence but I think it's going to be a draw on Sunday at Portman Road. Yes, Norwich are in better form but the game is at the Tractor Boys' ground and form usually goes out of the window for a derby.

It'll hopefully be a good game to watch, though, and I'm looking at a high-scoring draw - something like 2-2.
