Oxford United won the big game in League One this weekend, beating rivals Swindon - who ended the game with nine men - 2-0 at the Kassam Stadium.

Sheffield United extended their winning run to three games, as they beat AFC Wimbledon 3-2 away from home, whilst Mark Howard made sure Bolton kept their unbeaten start to the season alive, as he saved an MK Dons penalty in the 1-1 draw at the Macron Stadium.

Rochdale are still without a win so far in 2016/17, they drew 2-2 with Bristol Rovers. Coventry are the only other team who are yet to taste victory in League One, Millwall's Aiden O'Brien cancelled out Marvin Sordell's opener in a 1-1 draw.

Both sides finished with 10 men at Gigg Lane, where Danny Mayor scored twice as Bury beat Shrewsbury 2-1. Uwe Rosler's Fleetwood find themselves in the play-offs after a 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic, goals from Josh Magennis and Lee Novak where enough to earn a point for the Addicks at Highbury.

Cody McDonald and Jordy Hiwula were the goal scorers at the Priestfield Stadium as Gillingham drew 1-1 with Bradford. The Gills ended the game with 10 men, as Ryan Jackson was dismissed in stoppage time. Northampton remain unbeaten this season, they saw off Walsall in a 2-0 victory at Sixfields.

Neither Oldham or Chesterfield could break the deadlock at Boundary Park, as the two sides played out a goalless draw. But Scunthorpe had no trouble finding the net as they smashed Southend United 4-0, with 4 different players getting on the scoresheet.

While at London Road, George Moncur and Alex Jones scored braces for their respective clubs as Peterborough and Port Vale drew 2-2.

It's Bolton who remain top of the league after 7 games, with Scunthorpe occupying second place. But the weekend belonged to Oxford who are now 6 games unbeaten against rivals Swindon Town.
