1. Derby vs Bournemouth

The Cherries face a difficult test tonight against a Derby side who have made a solid start to the season picking up sixteen points from their first nine games sitting comfortably in the play-offs.

The Rams beat tonight’s visitors 1-0 at the iPro Stadium last season and grabbed a point at the reverse fixture at Dean Court. Although Bournemouth will be well up for this game after a well deserved 2-0 home win against Wigan on Saturday, Surely Derby will have enough firepower earn all three points with an added home advantage.

Prediction: Derby 2 Bournemouth 1

2. Watford vs Brentford

This all-London clash will be a very interesting game to keep an eye on after Watford manager Oscar Garcia resigned yesterday after only a remarkable 27 days in charge.

This whole ordeal may have shaken the Watford camp and leave newly-promoted Brentford with an excellent opportunity for an away victory, which they will go for after an impressive 2-0 victory over Leeds United on Saturday.

Prediction: Watford 0 Brentford 1

3. Norwich vs Charlton

The early league leaders face off against the Addicts at home tonight, with the away side making a solid start to the season despite many pundits tipping them to struggle to stay up.

Despite Canaries boss Neil Adams brushing off claims that this side only performs in the second half of games, This still seems to be the case after the yellows went behind against Blackpool on Saturday and eventually won 3-1.

Prediction: Norwich 3 Charlton 2

4. Middlesbrough vs Blackpool

Middlesbrough have also made a good start to the campaign as they look to push for promotion back to the Premier League after a five year absence. They currently sit in 7th place in the Championship table.

Blackpool sit rock bottom of the Championship after only gaining two points from their first nine league games after a shambolic pre-season for the Tangerines.

Prediction: Middlesbrough 3 Blackpool 0

5. Wigan vs Nottingham Forest

Wigan boss Uwe Rosler will be feeling the pressure after his side lost to Bournemouth on Saturday and dropped to a bitterly disappointing 18th place in the Championship.

Fellow promotion candidates Nottingham Forest are flying high under new boss and club legend Stuart Pearce as they look to inflict a second consecutive home defeat on the Latics.

Prediction Wigan 1 Nottingham Forest 2

6. Brighton vs Cardiff

This will be another interesting encounter between two sides which have both under-performed so far this season. The Seagulls will be boosted by the fact that they have won the previous four encounters between the two sides.

Cardiff may be shaken by the fact that they still lack a permanent manager as Danny Gabbidon and Scott Young look set to take charge of the Bluebirds again. However, new loan signing Ravel Morrison and striker Adam Le Fondre who signed in the summer from Reading have the quality to be certain game changers.

Prediction: Brighton 1 Cardiff 1

7. Rotherham vs Blackburn

League One play-off winners Rotherham will be quite happy that they are out of the relegation zone nine games into the season. However, defeat to Blackburn tonight could put that in jeopardy if Bolton win against Fulham tomorrow.

Blackburn are performing well so far this season as they look to push for the play-offs after failing to do so last term. However, they will be disappointed by failing to beat Watford at home on Saturday, drawing 2-2.

Prediction: Rotherham 1 Blackburn 3

8. Sheffield Wednesday vs Ipswich

Wednesday have raised a few eyebrows this season, sitting in an impressive 9th place in the table - despite having one of the smallest budgets in the Championship. The Owls will be looking to bounce back from a narrow 2-1 defeat against Cardiff away on Saturday.

Play-off contenders Ipswich are looking for their fifth consecutive victory and could move into the top two if other results go their way. The Tractor Boys will be boosted by fan favourite Jonny Williams resigning on loan from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace yesterday.

Prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 2 Ipswich 2

9. Millwall vs Birmingham

This game looks to be a vital for both sides who both face the threat of being relegated this season. The Lions and The Blues narrowly avoided relegation last term by winning their final fixtures of the season.

Both sides lost on Saturday to Huddersfield and Fulham respectively, and will be both looking to bounce back with a win. However, this may result in the two sides cancelling each other out.

Prediction: Millwall 0 Birmingham 0
