Skilful forward in, £1.8m-rated man misses out: The ultimate Leeds United five-a-side team

Some shrewd summer business has left Leeds United with an extremely strong squad heading into the 2017/18 season, with Thomas Christiansen often having a selection headache right across the pitch.  

The likes of Samuel Saiz, Ezgjan Alioski and Pierre-Michel Lasogga have significantly improved the squad Christiansen inherited, which included talent like Pontus Jansson and Pablo Hernandez.

Leeds have made a strong start to the Sky Bet Championship season, and after 11 fixtures, Christiansen’s side find themselves sitting fifth in the table, with 20 points from a possible 33.

There have been a number of standout performers for Leeds so far, with Lasogga in particular proving his worth to Christiansen with some exceptional performances as the focal point of Leeds’ attack.

However, here at FLW, we have looked to name a five-a-side team from Christiansen’s squad, which has led to a number of notable exclusions.
