If you ask the majority of Grimsby Town fans who their most hated player is, it's likely to be Richard Brodie.

He signed for the club on loan from Crawley Town back in January 2013, but had his loan spell cut short in March, which came after missing a penalty against Wrexham in Grimsby Town's FA Trophy Final defeat.

A spell to forget for Broadie, who remains an unpopular figure with a large proportion of the club's supporters.

Ashley Sestanovich is a player that won't be remembered fondly in his time with the club.

The midfielder signed on loan from Sheffield United back in the 2004/05 season but only scored twice in 22 appearances for the Mariners.

It didn't come as a surprise to see him not make his loan move a permanent one.

Colgan is the first goalkeeper on the list here, and he struggled throughout his time with the club.

The Irishman had previously been on the books with Chelsea, but signed for the Mariners in 2009 from Sunderland, which was a drop of three divisions for the shot-stopper.

He was released from the club in January 2011 after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Forecast struggled throughout his loan spell with the club back in 2009.

The shot-stopper arrived on loan from Southampton, but he only spent four games with Grimsby Town before having his loan spell cut short after some dismal performances for the Mariners.

Buckley signed for Grimsby Town in 1998 after a spell with West Brom.

There were questions raised as to whether he was playing for the Mariners because his father (Alan Buckley) was the manager of the club.

Buckley's contract with the club was cancelled by mutual consent in the summer of 2001, in a spell to forget for Buckley.

Antoine-Curier certainly didn't have an enjoyable spell with Grimsby Town when he signed for them in 2004 from Notts County.

The forward only made five appearances for the Mariners, and failed to find the back of the net as both Grimsby Town and his former club Notts County were relegated.
