Graham Potter's Swansea side head into tonight's clash with Premier League Crystal Palace off the back of a decent start to the Championship season.

The Swans sit 10th in the table with eight points which can be considered a decent start after the limited summer they had in terms of spending, and the teams they have faced so far.

Potter seems to have restored the 'Swansea way' at the Liberty Stadium with his side playing some brilliant, flowing, attacking football.

Oli McBurnie has been the star performer at the club having scored three goals in the opening five matches and he will be hopeful of continuing that form on Tuesday night, unless Potter decided to ring the changes.

But what can they expect from Crystal Palace who have made an okay start to the season with a win against Fulham, followed by an admirable performance in a 2-0 loss to Liverpool, and a poor showing on Sunday in a 2-1 defeat at Watford.

So what team will the South London club put out against their Welsh opponents? We look...

Expect Roy Hodgson to ring the changes starting in between the sticks.

Wayne Hennessey has been the number one at Palace this season but will most likely be rested in a cup competition that will not be high on Hodgson's list of priorities and in the Welshman's place will be summer signing Vicente Guaita.

Palace's defence will largely remain unchanged from the first choice.

Hodgson is someone who appreciates the importance of a solid and settled back-line so not many changes are expected.

So that means a recall for Wan Bissaka after serving his suspension on Sunday. The dynamic and direct right-back will be a big threat to Potter's side.

Martin Kelly is expected to continue in the centre of defence in the absence of James Tomkins and Scott Dann.

Both Tomkins and Dann are long-term injury concerns for Hodgson and with Kelly performing adequately in the role he will be keen to give him as many minutes as possible.

Next to Kelly will be Mamadou Sakho who has impressed since arriving at Selhurst Park from Liverpool.

Widely seen as the club's best defender, it is unlikely he will be one of those rotated tonight.

Patrick Van Aanholt will most likely continue in the left-back position.

Like Bissaka on the right, Van Aanholt will be a constant menace for the Swansea defence and will prove a real headache for them.

I expect Roy to maintain the same formation he has set up with this season, which means a flat midfield four.

This means that Andros Townsend will retain his spot out wide from Sunday. I would be surprised if he plays 90 minutes, but given Palace's lack of depth in the position, they do not have a lot of choice.

In the centre of the park, expect Cheikou Kouyate to start for the first time this season.

The physical midfielder was signed from West Ham in the summer and tonight is the perfect opportunity to throw him into the team.

Max Meyer will almost certainly be given a start tonight as well, playing alongside or perhaps in front of Kouyate.

The attacking midfielder was a real coup for Palace when they signed him in the summer, but the German is yet to start a match for his new side.

Unleashing him against weaker opposition could be ideal.

Over on the left wing expect to see another fringe player in the form of Sullay Kaikai.

He has not been involved in any of their matchday squads so far, but again with limited choices out wide Hodgson will need to look to the fringes.

It will be a fringe front two for the Premier League side as well with Alexander Sorloth likely to be given a runout.

He was signed for around £8million in January but only made four appearances in the league for Palace and is yet to make an impression.

Partnering Sorloth up front will be the club's talisman Wilfried Zaha.

Hodgson may be tempted rest the Ivorian international but I suspect he will want the forward to continue his fine form as much as he can.
