Bradford City have been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons of late after Stuart McCall was sacked last week.

Of course, form was not good at Valley Parade in the run-up to his sacking but they were still challenging for the top six and McCall led the side to the play-off final last year.

It did come as a shock, then, and the fall-out from it is continuing with it clear that Edin Rahic and the former manager perhaps didn't always see eye to eye.

Indeed, in a great interview with The Width of a Post, McCall has suggested that Rahic perhaps wanted to be involved too much in the running of the team and that it came to a point where McCall could have gone in the summer.

However, he didn't want to leave and the owners didn't want to sack him after the play-off final with them instead hoping for a resignation - something McCall would not do.
